We left Reims at 8.15am, kept a good pace stopping after 30 miles at 10 o clock. We were passed by a gang of Russian Hells angels one of whom clearly liked the look of Andy from behind - he slowed down, kept level and then reached out to pat him on the backside before roaring off laughing.
Lunch was in Vitry le Francoise, with a great cafe in the main square. Pasta all round, and so good to see sunshine.
Reached the hotel after Nick had sorted Robins mechanical problems to find it is flodded due to torrential rain 2 days ago. No beer and no kitchen.However we are remaining calm and going into town, lucky we have the Landrover to ferry us back and forth as the river has burst its banks and flooded the access road and the hotel.
